## Live availability and prices
- Use live search for date-specific availability, then open a live quote for the total including mandatory fees and taxes. Published calendars and search prices are indicative until quoted.

- [Search stays (JSON)](https://mpp.strlightning.com/_site/stays/search?format=json): the same GET search as compact JSON
- Exact dates: arrival, departure (YYYY-MM-DD), adults, children, pets (optional), promo_code (optional)
- Flexible dates: earliest_arrival, latest_departure (checkout deadline), nights, adults, children; at most 14 possible arrival dates and 90 nights per stay
- Follow next_url for more results and quote_url to verify a stay. Quotes include totals and payment terms; add details=1 only for nightly rates and itemized fees/taxes. Use format=html for readable pages, format=json for compact data, or format=markdown.
- A successful live quote returns mandatory fees, taxes, total, currency, verified_at and checkout_url. Give checkout_url to the guest to enter their details, sign and pay. Opening the link does not reserve inventory.
